This study aims to enhance Qur’anic literacy among elderly Muslim women through an interactive and participatory educational approach rooted in community engagement. The program was designed within the setting of a local *majelis taklim*, emphasizing a contextual and empathetic learning environment. Utilizing a qualitative-descriptive method, data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and focus group discussions. The findings reveal a marked improvement in participants’ Qur’anic reading proficiency, emotional involvement, and motivation for continued religious education. The instructional model—featuring repetition, peer correction, and motivational storytelling—proved effective in fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere. This study presents a replicable model of religious education for marginalized adult populations, emphasizing the intersection between community participation, spiritual empowerment, and contextual andragogy. Future research is encouraged to investigate scalable digital strategies and differentiated curriculum designs to sustain religious literacy among elderly learners.
