Enhancing Inmates' Understanding of Rights and Obligations Through Rehabilitation and Counseling Guidance

Purpose- This article aims to explain the implementation of an educational webinar designed to improve inmates' understanding of rights and obligations through guidance and counseling services.
Design/Methodology/Approach -This method used in paper is descriptive qualitative, with data obtained from activity documentation and participant responses.
Findings - The results indicate that the webinar helped participants understand the concept of a more human correctional system, the importance of counseling in behavioral change, and the need of a balance between fulfilling rights and fulfilling obligations. Therefore, this activity is considered effective as an educational tool and can be used as an alternative support for correctional facilities.
Originality/Value – This research believe that webinars can be used as an effective and easy-to-implement educational alternative to support the rehabilitation process of inmates in correctional facilities, particularly in increasing their awareness, discipline, and readiness to return to society.
