The journal aims to publish original research articles of hypothetical and theoretical nature that provide exploratory insights in the areas of educational theory, teaching methods, instructional design, college management, case studies, and so on at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The editorial board aims to publish high quality research or review papers focusing on teaching, research, training and applied work in the field of higher education. The journal is published twice a year (January-July) in an online version, accessible and downloadable for free. IJHEI encourages creation of effective policy solutions and enhancement of professional development in all areas within the university, the four-year college, and the community college.

The International Journal of Islamic Studies Issues (IJISI)) publishes articles, research, studies, and results of theoretical or empirical research within the scope of interdisciplinary Islamic studies that are developing in society, such as education, da'wah, law, economics, ushuludin, arts, and scientific information. All accepted manuscripts will be published online.
The Journal seeks to place Islam and the Islamic tradition as its central focus of academic inquiry and to encourage comprehensive consideration of its many facets; to provide a forum for the study of Islam and Muslim societies in their global context; to encourage interdisciplinary studies of the Islamic world that are crossnational and comparative; to promote the diffusion, exchange and discussion of research findings; and to encourage interaction among academics from various traditions of learning.
