Abstract

This research aims to analyze the teaching and learning process at SMP PUI Ci Curug, focusing on teaching strategies, student engagement, and the effectiveness of the methods used. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Teachers and students participated in this study to provide a comprehensive overview of classroom dynamics. The findings indicate that implementing interactive learning methods, such as group discussions and presentations, plays a significant role in enhancing active student participation. However, there are still some challenges, such as limited learning media and varying academic abilities among students, which affect the achievement of learning objectives. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the school provide training for teachers on educational technology and improve facilities that support the learning process. This study is expected to contribute to improving the quality of education at SMP PUI Ci Curug specifically and serve as an evaluation material for other educational institutions.
